Text of the statement
Given the rapid developments of events, which determined the fate of the country, and under continuous monitoring of internal and external events, and the planned delegation of the Vice President of the Republic of the terms of reference, and the belief of our national homeland to save the stability and integrity:
Council decided to ensure the implementation of the following procedures:
End the state of emergency immediately after the current circumstances.
Constitutional amendments and referendum.
Chapter electoral appeals and the necessary action thereon.
Make the necessary legislative amendments.
Presidential elections free and fair view of the decision of the constitutional amendments.
Committed to the armed forces under the auspices of the legitimate demands of the people and seek to achieve, through follow-up implementation of these measures in a timely manner with precision and packaging Until the time at the peaceful transition of power, leading to a democratic society of free people is looking forward to it.
And stresses the armed forces not to prosecute the security of the honest, who refused to corruption and demanded reform, and warns of compromising the security and safety of citizens.
It also emphasizes the need for uniformity of work facilities, the State, and the return of normal life to safeguard the interests and property of our great people.
