Foreign Affairs: land bridge for the transfer of the Egyptians from Libya
Spokesman for the Foreign Ministry, Ambassador Hossam Zaki, that, in an effort to assist in the return of all who wish to Egyptian nationals residing in Libya, to the land of the country by road, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in cooperation with the ministries and different governmental bodies conduct land bridge from the city of Benghazi, Libya to the town of Salloum, Egypt.
Zaki added that it is the transfer of citizens who arrive in the Egyptian city by buses and trains to all governorates of the Republic, confirming the arrival of ten thousand and six hundred citizen by road to a port already Salloum.
He appealed to Egyptian citizens who are in the areas may not be stable in terms of security to stay in their homes, particularly during periods of the night and contact the Egyptian embassy in Tripoli and the Consulate General in Benghazi, to facilitate the return of wanted them to their homeland.
